ABOUT THE BUSINESS
Nightshade Tea Lounge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit creating a cozy, queer-friendly community space in Pittsburgh’s South Hills. With the atmosphere of a Victorian library after dark, our alcohol-free lounge brings people together to connect, unwind, and access free resources without the expectation of spending money. Wheelchair accessibility, late-night availability, and community care are central to our mission.
SERVICES
We offer free tea and gluten-free, vegan snacks; a food pantry; clothing and accessories; post-operative care packages; HRT injection supplies; and reproductive health and harm reduction resources. We also help visitors find LGBTQIA+ friendly businesses, social groups, and support throughout Pittsburgh. Suggested donations help keep resources stocked, but everyone is welcome regardless of their ability to pay.
